Adult butterflies have big and most likely colourful wings.

In south Queensland there are millions of butterflies blooming in the air they say it’s because of their lovely wet season.

Moths and butterflies is the third of the biggest insects.

Butterflies start off by being a small oval circle.

They do not feed other baby animals.

chrysalis are their hard part of their body that pushes their blood up to their wings so that their wings can work.

Butterflies can make babys when they are butterflies but to do that they have to meet a different mate.

They grow into a caterpillar and they only eat and wrap up into a caccon.

there are four different stages they go through.

butterflies get their colours by two different things:Ordaniry colour and structrual colours.

I have chosen this post because our learning is most likely based on different animals or insects.And we are also learning about how they adapt.What I found challenging was looking for all the facts and to think if things I want to know about butterflies.But had over came it by staying on task and trying not distract others or get distracted.

Butterflies Life Cycle:


All butterflies start off as a little oval egg.Yous are most likely to be expecting a butterflies after eggs well it’s a caterpillar.On this stage they only do eating and wrap themselves up in a cocoon.Then they adapt into a beautiful butterfly blooming in the air.They are common with moths but butterflies wings are more colourful.
How Many butterflies in Queensland compared to New Zealand:


It is to be known that it has been 40 years in Queensland there are millions of butterflies blooming beautifully in the sky.There are only a few different types of butterflies in New Zealand.

cocoon-it is what the caterpillars rest in while they are being transformed into a lovely butterfly.


Transformed-When something changes into something different.


Adapt-It’s when an animal turns into something or when they fit in their environment.


Ordinary-It’s when something is or was already there.

  2. What an amazing piece of learning. I really like how you've created the post and included your plan. Have you thought about your colour scheme, as I think Sumaya is right- it's tricky to read at points.
